You’re Engaged! Here’s What To Do Next

Congratulations, you’re engaged! First and most importantly, set aside some time each week to really enjoy your engagement with your fiance. Date nights, yes, please.

Whether you’re newly engaged or planning on using the holiday season to finally sit down and start planning your wedding, we are laying out the crucial first steps to getting started. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be posting a series on some of the key first steps in wedding planning. There are the steps we guide all our full planning and design couples through.

The biggest and most important step is figuring out the potential basic parameters of your wedding. That means: the size of your potential guest list, your overall budget and season/location preferences. Sit down with your partner and close family. Have a discussion over the number of guests that may be invited (start keeping a formal list), what investment you are willing to make in this milestone event and what you imagined it would look like and feel like. Stay tuned for more about each of those three key considerations!

We love providing full planning and complete design assistance to our couples. If you’re looking to invest in a planner that can bring your vision to life while seamlessly planning your wedding or wedding weekend, we’re here for you! Inquire here to set up a time to speak more.
