A+D were married at Liberty Warehouse on a gorgeous day in May of 2022. We were so happy that it didn’t rain and surprised that it was supposed to be 80 degrees! It all worked out perfectly in the end. Liberty Warehouse is a beautiful industrial raw space. The venue boasts perfect views of the Statue of Liberty and lower manhattan, as well as epic sunsets.
The couple came to us through an internet search, they had planned the majority of the wedding themselves but were looking to tie the loose ends together in the last 3-4 months. This included designing the space and sourcing a florist. Liberty Warehouse has a tried and true vendor for lighting, Pegasus Productions, which created a beautiful over-the-dance-floor focal point and provided pin-spots for the tables. The venue also has a number of recommended florists but we knew that finding someone might be difficult since we were 3 months before the event and 2022 is a very busy year for wedding vendors.
We ended up with Bride & Blossom who worked with us to create a bright and colorful wedding in the non-traditional tone that the couple wanted, while remaining elegant and timeless. They are a boutique floral design company that specializes in weddings and serves many of the quintessential New York venues: Loeb Boathouse, New York Botanical Garden etc.
The bright fuchsia of the Orchids throughout the Chuppah and the centerpieces were stunning. And coupled with the navy tablecloths in the industrial space, the overall design really made for quite an eye-catching guest experience.
We brought in some authentic wine barrels from the Red Hook Winery next door for the entrance to the aisle. The couple had some amazing ideas to tie in their dog, as well as their shared love for ice cream.
